Local Service (San Diego County). For Escrow companies located in San Diego County, our full service Loan Signings include:
Pickup documents from Escrow or Lender (or receive E-docs and print out, including borrower's copies)
Schedule signing appointment with Borrower(s)
Meet Borrower(s) at their desired location, present loan documents, get required signatures and notarize applicable documents
Return loan documents to Escrow, same day if possible, or early next morning
Package loan documents and provide certified copies as needed for lender, as well as Escrow and Title copies
Documents to be returned outside of San Diego County we will overnight the same evening if possible, or the following day, and provide shipping/tracking information
All documents, deeds or other instruments which require a certificate of acknowledgment or jurat. Fees are $10 per signature per document, travel fees will apply.
California notaries public are prohibited from performing any duties which may be construed as the unlawful practice of law. Among the acts which constitute the practice of law are the preparation, drafting, or selection or determination of the kind of any legal document, or giving advice with relation to any legal documents or matters. If asked to perform such tasks, a California notary public should decline and refer the requester to an attorney.
